The Perfect French Press Coffee

1. Heat water – Boil, then let cool slightly (around 90–96 °C).

2. Measure coffee – About 30 g (4 tablespoons) for 500 ml water.

3. Grind coffee – Coarse, like breadcrumbs.

4. Add coffee to French press – Spread evenly.

5. Pour water – Slowly over the grounds in a circle until fully wet.

6. Steep 5 minutes – Let it sit undisturbed.

7. Stir gently – Break the top crust with a spoon.

8. Skim foam – Remove floating bits for cleaner taste.

9. Press gently – Push plunger just until it meets the liquid.

10. Pour and enjoy – Avoid disturbing the settled grounds.
